Obama as a World Leader?

The Kool-Aid Man, despite Dane Cook's hate for the "big dumb punch bowl" that broke down his father's walls, is unfortunately the blame apparently for some of the madness in politics. Of course I kid about this because it refers to the "Clinton/Obama Kool-Aid Drinkers" but it has proven to be unnervingly true lately. In a time when we are supposedly held captive by the "scare tactics" of the current administration, I am more and more concerned with the general public of the country with their misguided morals and values.

I think that it is very unfortunate that it only takes one administration to completely botch things up when it comes to public opinion of politics. Let's face it, if you ask a majority of voters what "their candidate" stands for, they can only give you the campaign slogans like "hope" and "change". It is a great american freedom that we as people have to be able to vote in a politician whom stands as our country's representative, yet does this come at the cost of uneducated voters or at least those that follow politics so loosely that they depend on a quick 2 minute or less headline passing on their nightly local news immediately before they pass out?

Either we have grown even more lazy as americans than our european counterparts point out or else our moral compasses have been attracted to a false magnetic force. Was our country not discovered by pioneers and engineers that shaped the most powerful country in the world in not only power but technology, ideals and diversity of people? Would those that lived back then, that traveled across the country to settle on new lands while battling illnesses, loss of limbs and death, cringe at today's society demanding the government to supply it's citizens with absolutely everything they need even in the cases that some of those are unwilling to work for such privileges?

The Kool-Aid drinkers I happen to be referring to are those that will make up any excuse possible for their candidates shortcomings, even if it means masking the character of the person that is revealed through their associations. To say that Obama's pastor has nothing to do with Obama being president is the type of blind ignorance that has lead to so many of today's society problems. To think that we should just turn away and not pay attention to these things will only prolong the inevitable backlash down the road when his past comes back to haunt him. He is not applying to be a CEO of a company, no, that would not have his pastor playing into his hiring. Obama is running for an office that represents and controls us all, not just select communities of people.

This race is not about Obama's skin color, those that say that this is why Obama is being hit so hard are only trying to mask his character with diversions. How could an african american be in the position to be a world leader if this country is so repressive? This is not a race issue, unless of course you count those uneducated voters, as I mentioned earlier, that would vote for a black candidate to prove to themselves and anyone else they want to know, that they have moved past the racism era in this country. Really? Does this represent their values or morals or principles? Do they even know what Barack stands for? I highly doubt it, and those votes will heavily outweigh the votes of people whom actually follow politics, even those that have researched and would vote for him anyway (they might share the same values, in which case I support their right to vote).

Obama,Wright

Obama, when denouncing his pastor Wright, said that he (Wright) was not his spiritual advisor or spiritual mentor, he was his pastor. This is a fancy political magic trick of words, I think if you are smart and look at that comment you would realize that the definition of a pastor is in fact a spiritual advisor and/or mentor. As for me, I see a lack of issue that people are taking with Wright, most would see that Obama has been sitting in the church for 20 years and say that he "maybe" didn't hear these specific speeches that were "taken out of context" (I will repost the link to listen to Wright's full Palm Sunday speech that was anything BUT out of context). No, my problem with Obama is the fact that he took his children to listen to hate filled venom that was shot out at the listening congregation filling their heads with more politics than religion and more hate than promise of redemption. To refer to the US as the United States of KKK of A, say that Hillary has never been a n****, that government created AIDs to control the black population or "no, no, no, not God Bless America, God D*mn America THAT'S in the Bible" or talking about how Bill Clinton was "Ridin' Dirty" w/ Miss Lewinsky while using gyrating motions behind the podium. This is acceptable behavior to bring your children to see? This does not reflect that character of Obama, to not only allow his children to see that, to not only sit in the pews for 20 years but to listen to Anti-America filled speeches? That doesn't pertain to government position?

This is all, of course, the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Obama. IF the Wright controversy boils down then he will be immediately hit with his association with Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers is a professor at the University of Illinois and is a member of the Weatherman Underground, a terrorist group responsible for the Greenwich Village bombing that killed three other Weatherman Underground members while trying to make a nail bomb and possible connection to other unclaimed terrorism. As recently as 2001, September 11th of all days to be exact, the New York Times published an article in which Ayers said he "had no regrets" and said "I feel like we didn't do enough". When asked if he would ever take up his extremism again he was quoted as saying "I wouldn't discount the possibility". How does this connect with Obama? Well Obama lives in the same neighborhood and has served on a Woods Fund of Chicago board with Ayers and have been known as close friends. Obama noted in his Philadelphia speech that his association with a man whom carried out attacks when he (Obama) was 8 years old should have no relevance to this election, does this in fact mean that 15 years from now the next president can be close friends with Osama Bin Laden and it would not be relevant?

I would conclude that for the time being, for all I know, these two issues are the most important when it comes to Obama BUT there is certainly more to see when it comes to character. Obama's speech to a closed party in San Fran revealed that Obama thought Pennsylvanians were "bitter and clung to their guns and religion and apathy for those that are different than themselves". Essentially saying that we look to our religion when things go wrong and that we shoot at those things that are different that intrude on our daily grind and that we push back against the social norms to keep racism in place so that there can never be a black president. I would argue that if he WAS in fact a man of faith, he would realize that we cling to religion through the good times and the bad and praise God for everything that is laid out in his plans, we never turn away or toward him unless we are just starting to find him.

Barack Obama also reminisced about his white grandmother spouting "racial slurs that made me cringe", which most considered throwing his family "under the bus". To clear this up he said in an interview "what I meant by that was that my grandmother is a typical white person who....". Typical white person? That is supposed to clear up our misunderstanding of what you meant to say when we thought you threw her under the bus? Would a white candidate be able to say anything about a "typical black person"? Absolutely not. This may feed into the racial issue that Wright is pushing on his congregation though, especially worth noting is Barack's wife saying that "she has never been proud of America in her adult life until now", referring to her husband making it so far as a black candidate. Maybe we should also ask why Barack participated in the Million Man March where Louis Farrakhan spoke, a man whom was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by none other than the Reverend Wright. Farrakhan whom said that Judaism is a "gutter religion" and that white people are "the skunk of the earth". I should also mention that Obama and Wright's church are operated under the idea of Black Liberation Theology which is, as James Cone describes "Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." That may shine a little light on the religious stance of Obama, once again, what if a white candidate went to a church that only accepted God if he was in favor of the "white" community?

It seems to me that the only bitter person in this campaign is Obama himself, filled with (but not projecting) an anti-America, pro-black agenda. How is a man that is associated with such fanatics of racist-exremism supposed to unite the country and her citizens? He has also been saying that he does not take money from "Big Oil" and lobbyist but has been found to be the candidate with the largest funding from lobbyist! Change, yes there will be change, but is it the type of change that America is longing for? It seems to me that Obama is just like, if not worse, than all the other politicians.

I'm Chris Ford and I definitely approve this message.

Have you heard about the Whitey video? There will be some major racial backlashes come November.

There are Kool-aid drinkers on all sides. The Obama ones are just more obnoxious right now.

Thank you for the heads up on the Whitey video, I will keep my ears and eyes peeled for that.

The funny thing about Kool Aid drinkers on McCain's side is the fact that I haven't run into any, not many conservatives like him.

The only reason I will be voting for him come November is due to national security and the fact that he is against earmarks, which in my mind are one of the biggest crimes in congress of all time. It's unfortunate that the people who could pass a law or bill against earmarks are the very people that use and benefit from them, that is screwed up
