The Messiah Spoke To Me Today...Through My Radio

Photobucket

When I drive to work I listen to a local news radio station that has a conservative host in the morning followed by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. I would be willing to go out on a branch and say that the people who listen are pretty set in their right wing ways.

Imagine my surprise then when I heard an ad tearing McCain apart for his policies with an emphasis on his wasteful spending. No surprise that it was followed by a "I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message".

Is it just me, or do you find it ironic and funny that Obama is spouting "wasteful spending" in a radio spot that was picked to broadcast on conservative talk radio?

Either his campaign didn't do the research to find out what audience would be or he just doesn't care and is willing to waste money on an un-swayable crowd. Either way, it glows of what we can expect from him in the upcoming years if he is president.

The Wind Turbine On My House Blows

Sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at the world around you. I get just as upset about global warming as any environmentalist but I do so for the opposite reason, I feel that man-made global warming is the greatest hoax of all time. To each his own though. I have come to terms with the fact that we need alternative energy to supplement our oil or just outright someday replace it. Even I know that oil won't last forever. The two biggest sources of energy most commonly talked about as an "alternative" are solar and wind. Yet, with all the pushing the greenies have been doing to get these sources of energy, it turns out they are the same people blocking the way for it to become available.

Wind turbines and solar cells require a transmission line for the energy to reach it's destination. These can be buried lines but more than likely overhead power lines. These cut over terrain like forests and other natural habitats which would apparently disturb or destroy the environment. I can see their point, just to build the towers for the lines or dig for them to go underground would require some trampling in the wilderness. My question is, did the environmentalist just throw out wind and solar energy without doing any research prior to claiming this as the "save all" energy plan? I guess we are going to have to wait for electricity to be able to travel through the air before environmentalists are happy, Sorry, I forgot, they only way to satisfy a greenie is for everyone to die, so "Mother Earth" can sustain itself.

Funny thing is, I don't think that bold statement is even an insult, I really think that is the route to their happiness.

There are a few interesting statistics that I came across when hearing about this new energy blockage. To power New York City you would need a wind turbine field the size of Connecticut. To power the city of Pheonix, Arizona, you would need a field about 100 miles X 100 miles of solar panels. I hope I am not the only one laughing out loud right now. Does this really represent an "alternative"!? I mean, don't get me wrong, if everyone had a roof with solar panels on them to pull their own energy that would be awesome. As long as there was a type of switching generator that would resort to local power once the power collected by your own solar ran out.

There are even great innovations in these "alternative energy" sources, apparently they are working on solar panels that work to produce hydrogen. Now if we could only get those hydrogen cars on the road. We are also apparently able to place cells below asphalt surfaces to collect heat and transfer it into energy. I just can't help but think about 10-15 years ago when solar power was the next big thing, what does that progress tell you?

It tells me that even though "alternative energy" may be in the front of everyone's mind right now, doesn't mean it will get done fast. Judging by the transmission line problems with the environmentalists, you have to wonder if these will ever get done at all.

Russia and Iran say "Watch the Olympics, don't mind what we are doing over here"

Photobucket

There is something very interesting going on right now that also scares the pants off of me and it does involve the war in Iraq/Afghanistan. I found myself sitting here wondering if I should bring our two candidates for president into this but I really feel that this is not a partisan problem. Let me also first say that I am really getting a head full of conspiracy theories lately because everything just seems to fall in line a little too perfectly for our enemies. Basically, I think we have been witnessing the opening acts of World War III setting the stage in Iraq and Afghanistan BUT the real battle, that seems to at least, will be played out across Europe once again before hitting home and don't deal with Iraq and Afghanistan directly.

Since the Olympics have started Russia has invaded Georgia and violated cease fire agreements during Olympic times, furthering their progression against world leaders like the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy and United States president, George W. Bush. In the meantime, seemingly getting no attention at all, Israel is responding to those saying that they are increasingly likely to take action against Iran before their own annihilation from the crazed Iran president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (also known as President Tom and Adolph Jr.) whom denies the holocaust and continually refers to the obliteration of the Jewish state and those who support them. Just a couple weeks ago Mahmoud (Adolph Jr.) mentioned that "Israel's time has run out" and that "the Jewish state will soon disappear".

In case you don't realize this, it has been repeatedly said that Iran is supplying insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan with weapons to kill our soldiers and drive our forces back. What you may or may not know is that Russia has been supplying Iran with weaponry that they can use in case of Israeli or American opposition. Two evil forces, Putin and Adolph Jr., are joining forces in the face of western civilization. Is anyone picking up on why this is absolutely horrible news in regards to our troop levels or is it just me???!

Thinking in military terms we must look at the enemies intentions on why all of these events MIGHT be unfolding. I think the whole world realizes that American forces are stretched thin in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you oppose the war, that is fine that is your opinion and I understand that everyone, no matter which party affiliation, at least cares about our soldiers BUT if you are naive enough to think that our enemies don't use our emotions and news against us then you really are ill informed and should keep your opinion out of foreign affairs. The fact that pulling troops out of Iraq is such a big headline on the news all the time is telling the enemy to "sit tight" and to "just wait it out". This also is packaged with information of our troops being on their third and fourth. or more, deployments to Iraq. This is another clear message that our military is stretched thin.

As a side note-I feel that one of the major reasons for loss of soldier life in the middle east is due to our Rules of Engagement and Geneva Convention. If we are facing other civilized forces that is one thing BUT this enemy uses our rules against us. In the Lone Survivor, by Marcus Lutrell, he speaks of unarmed, seemingly civilians, riding up on camels with explosives and blowing us up. Women and children with hidden bombs under their clothing. A soldier is unable to fire unless fired upon, leaving their fate in the hands of politicians that refuse to even visit the war field let alone fight in the wars, or visit our wounded. A soldier should have the ability to defend themselves under these circumstances without having to face the liberal media demanding that they be brought up on war charges of murder back at home for defending themselves and their country. Civilized rules in an uncivilized war has cost more lives than those that support the ROEs would like to consider. These insurgents actually get a kick out of either a.)killing us or b.) watching us kill them and then getting slaughtered by the main stream media for doing the right thing. That makes me pretty sick.

Sorry, coming back to the issue at hand I have realized this in my theory. If I were the enemy and realized thin troop levels and American opposition to the war I would do the following:

1. Continuing supplying those also in opposition to the western civilizations
2. Continue to cause havoc in the middle east
3. Attack allied countries of the West
4. Start wars in multiple locations to stretch military of opposition even thinner
5. Move forward with "Power Plan"

Look at the facts here, 1 & 2 have been happening for some time now. 3 has been progressing in the last couple weeks. If these countries, Georgia and Israel, retaliate that would produce plan #4, leading to their allies, the US, to send backup to those countries to help out, further spreading our troop level thin. Their "Power Plan" is obviously not information readily at hand to let you know what they plan but you can be assured that the premise of it is in fact POWER.

What other countries may be of concern? I can list China, Venezuela, Egypt and North Korea as a few. China within the last year has tested missles that shoot satellites out of orbit. Imagine if they would take out our military satellites with ground coordinates. It is no secret that China is looking to become the world leader in industry. North Korea's conflict with South Korea has been on the peaceful side of late. Egypt is apparently another country that has supplies from our enemies and hates westerners. If Adolph Jr., Putin, Kim Jong-Il, Egypt and China all enter into another form of an Axis of Evil, well you can take that statement where you may.

It's a theory, I don't claim to be a military strategist but I am a thinker, these pieces of the puzzle just fall a little too perfectly into place and these "leaders" make no hesitation to let us know a.)their opposition to us b.)their military intentions and c.) their struggle for power and control. We have the finest military in the world because it is composed of volunteers who willingly fight for our liberties and freedoms but with such a thinning of levels across countries is it that far fetched to think that there could possibly be another draft? Not to mention the idea of nuclear warfare in a World War II scenario, please believe it would happen and happen quickly.

So, can we take democrats and republicans out of this equation for once and can other people agree with me that the stage is set? Or am I really that crazy and alone in this world........

Don't drink the water in the Dominican Republic, it Leads to Conspiracy Theories

Photobucket

Nancy Pelosi, what has been said about Fidel Castro that can't also be applied to this woman. You are possibly looking straight down the barrel of a dictatorship gun right now, the finger is on the trigger and America has it's eyes closed. If you affiliate yourself with the republican party or the democrat party you understandably would like to see that party take control over the White House and Congress as the majority, that is unless you are smart. You see, if either party would gain that type of control there stands to be a large sum of people, albeit different groups, that stand to get royally screwed over. It is the balance of having an oppositely controlled White House vs. Congress in order to maintain our checks and balances and assure that our government doesn't screw up the country more than it already is, no matter which party has the President.

Enter Nancy Pelosi last Friday, August 1, 2008, with the usual session in congress. Yet, on this day, the majority leader declared that the lights, microphones and cameras be shut off when republican congressmen lined up for their , up to 5 minute, deliveries. You see it is a part of the congress process that after every session any legislature has the ability to deliver a speech of up to 5 minutes on the floor. When more than 75 legislatures lined up for the podium, leading to what could have potentially been another six hours, to discuss the energy crisis, Pelosi basically sucker punched the American citizens and could have outright said "Let the American people pay more for energy a couple more months and MAYBE we will talk about this when we get back from our summer vacation", then BOOM shut off the building.

What I can not believe is how this story was basically barely covered at all OR for completely the wrong reasons! If you read the New York Times article below you will hear nothing about how many lined up to talk about the energy crisis, Pelosi's antics and the democrats' lack of responsibility to the voters to discuss the energy problem. What you will read about is how one representative used his cell phone to provide a live feed to a website of the aftermath, this article went from being about politics to being about the "wonderful use of technology in our daily lives and how situations arise to accommodate them". What a great cover up from the people that are so deeply in the fryer for Obama they might as well have a golden crusty layer by now.

Here is the real kicker though, another two days later the NYT released another article pertaining to the growing dialema of the energy crisis' effect on charities. If you know anything about what the Dems love to hold over the Conservative's heads, it's that they are SO involved in charities and statistically more inclined to do service to help the poor, diseased, injured, blah blah blah, of course always leaving out the other statistic that conservatives donate more to charities than liberals do. Quick sidenote, if liberals donate more time and conservatives donate more money, aren't both parties doing a pretty damn good job at helping in different ways??? Anyway, here is the problem that charities are having with the energy crisis, volunteers are given 14 cents a mile towards fuel as opposed to the average 58.5 cents that corporate employees get for their business trips. These charities are basically asking that congress help alleviate the gas tax and also help increase the volunteer cents per mile to about 70% of that of the average corporate employee, or in simple terms, from 14 cents to 41 cents. Fine, sounds good to me, especially since it hasn't been raised for over a decade. Once again though, the NYT decided to leave out another crucial factor of the energy crisis and its effect on the charity functions. You see as the American people pay more at the pump we inevitably cut back on other costs, less groceries or less travel, no dinner out or car pool, the fact of the matter though is that one of the very first things any tight-budgeted family will cut is charity donations, either completely or at least partially. Costs of living are up and I bet you charity donations are down.

While I was on my honeymoon in Punta Cana, I started thinking crazy. Maybe it was the water, maybe it was the fact that "Gracias", "De nada", "Por favor" and "agua" got me through the whole week. There I sat though analyzing the government and coming up with a conspiracy theory that if told to me by anyone else a month ago would have been ignored. I started thinking about our energy crisis as I watched the world news, the international stock markets and anything entertainment related. If you ask me, the democrats have really sacrificed Americans to prove a point, that the Bush administration is a failure. Their reluctance to tackle this energy crisis has lead to a slide in the economy, the loss of jobs, the airline industry to fold, the car industry to suffer, the average American family to hold their breath and for what? To say that it is all Bush's fault, it is all his fault because it happened during his terms as President. Nevermind PelosiOZ behind the curtain with her flying monkey Reed, no no it is not their fault. These democrats have done all this to make the republican party look completely evil DURING AN ELECTION YEAR! That is plain and simple the only reason this is happening. Don't get me wrong I think that Pelosi is an environmental freak and really doesn't want to drill offshore BUT if the democrats had the White House and the people were as outraged and steadfast at demanding that offshore drilling be done, her and her croonies would have caved in 4 months ago! "Oh well Chris you are just an evil conservative who wants to screw up the environment, besides drilling for oil won't have an effect on the price of gas for another couple years!" WRONG, just the mere mention from Bush of lifting the offshore drilling ban drove the price per barrel down over $25 and the price per gallon down over 25 cents, it's called future speculations, look it up. The competition has to heat up from our enemies overseas producing oil because a new competitor is about to join the race and it's the world's superpower so they should be upset. Besides, America has cleaner resources for drilling anyway and the percentage chance of us screwing up the environment as opposed to other countries IN THE SAME DAMN SPOTS are marginally less.

Taking an even deeper look at economics though, the democrats seem to really not give a flying anything when it comes to the other markets in the world, we are THE market in the world and when ours goes down so do all the others. All I heard on the news that week was "The US market was down today which caused a steep drop in the Asian and European markets" every single day.

So there is my conspiracy theory, the Dems would love to see the world go to crap just to blame it on Bush for political expediency during an election cycle to gain both Congress and the White House in 2009 and continue with antics like Pelosi pulled last Friday more in lines with a dictatorship than a democracy. What is your answer to that Pelosi?

Hey can someone turn back on the lights I can't see in here.......
