$17 Billion Is A Lot...Outside Of D.C., Yea, Start Making The Changes Within Then.
Is the mainstream media finally doing it's job??
In this video, you see Jake Tapper, ABC White House correspondent, picking apart the President's plan on reducing the budget by $17 billion, or 1/2 of 1% of the total $3 trillion+ budget.
Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary, uh ummm, extraordinaire, then defensively asked to go out on the streets and ask if people thought $17 billion was a lot of money.
ABC actually also pointed out that Obama scoffed at McCain's $18 billion budget cut during the campaign.
Good job ABC, try keeping it up. The original intent of the Press was to keep check on the government, that is why they were given so much freedom. They weren't supposed to be in bed with the President.
Is the one-night stand STARTING to end? Only time will tell.
